IPAmaker is a Windows application that converts installed iPhone/iPod/iPad apps into valid IPA files. Imagine you just bought some expensive apps on your iPhone, but iTunes won’t transfer those purchases to your computer (I’m sure this has happened to you at least once! – if not, it will happen soon :P). What if you accidentally delete some critical iOS system files via some file browser? What if some defective jailbreak tweak screws up your iPhone, never letting it boot up? What if your iPhone suddenly stops working, and you are asked to restore (showing the ‘Connect to iTunes’ screen)? What if you get the ‘spinning-wheel-of-death’ on your iPhone? Well, the only option you have is to restore, and if you choose to restore, you lose all your precious apps. (that’s the case until iOS 5 and iCloud become public). And when that happens, the iPhone turns into a money-eating machine. IPAmaker is here to the rescue!
Unable to Transfer Purchases from iPhone? The alternative solution—without using iTunes
I’ve faced this situation many times, when my iPhone would not transfer purchases I’ve made on my iPhone. Tried uninstalling-and-reinstalling iTunes, tried another computer, tried almost everything. And still, none of my apps get transferred to my computer. I don’t know why this happened, and I’m not interested in finding that out. Well, because there is another way of doing it—the jailbreakers’ way.

Where’s the Backspace Key on iPhone’s Calculator App?
I rarely use the Calculator app on my iPhone, and I when I used it a few days ago, I was bugged instantly. After an intensive series of calculations and a huge number coming on the Calculator’s LED screen, I mistyped a number. How do I delete the last number I entered? I searched and searched, and when I was just about to bang my head on the wall, I remembered the Apple tagline–‘Think Different’. And that’s how I found the simple solution. If you’ve been looking for the backspace key on your iPhone’s calculator app, let me tell you, there’s no backspace key but there’s a solution. A really simple one.
Google Maps trick you probably didn’t know about: How to search for places on Google Maps using co-ordinates?
Co-ordinates are a great way to accurately define the position of objects, both in mathematics, and in the real world. As you perhaps already know, the earth is divided into a number of imaginary lines called Latitudes and Longitudes. The co-ordinates of a point in a plane is given as a combination of two values, for example (1,4). The first number indicates the horizontal distance, and the second gives the vertical distance of the point from the point of origin. Similarly, given the co-ordinates of a place on earth, we can determine its precise location on a map. You know how to search for places on Google Maps, but wait, how do you search for places using the Latitude and Longitude (co-ordinates)? What if somebody gives you co-ordinates of a place, and you need to tell him/her the exact location? Read along to find out.
Set up custom Keyboard Shortcuts to launch Applications and Folders
What would happen if there were no keyboard shortcuts at all? What if simple shortcuts you use on your PC, such as Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V were not introduced in the first place? What if you had to move your mouse pointer to the Edit menu again and again, just to copy and paste stuff? How would you get to the Task Manager fast without any shortcut keys? Hard to imagine, but easy to believe—computers without keyboard shortcuts would have been a total waste of time.
This How-To will give you the necessary steps to make your Windows computer work under your commands. Literally.
